About this Boat

Excellent headroom for a smaller broads boat and very easy to manoeuvre. The engine was replaced in 2007 with a Vetus Marine 4.17 Diesel and PRM150 Gearbox (prop replaced at the time). Very economical 42hp engine with Vetus flexible coupling. Over £5,000 was spent on the engine alone (with receipts) and low use since. Last serviced in 2020 before the winter layup. Plenty of room around the engine for maintenance and oil changes. New stern tube and repacked 2019, new cutlass bearing, propeller in excellent condition. 240 Volt mains for shore power with hook up sockets, immersion heater, 12-volt outlets in all areas.

Full LED lighting throughout, 130Ah Leisure batteriesx2, Starter battery, charge relay/switched, Vetus Gauges-  Water Temp, Volts, Oil pressure, gauges added- Rudder, Oil Temp, Water and Fuel level. Auto bilge pumps x2 and alarms, Valve sensors and LED’s, flow alarm for raw water. Overheat alarm, High charge alternator.

Paperwork and Survey out of water in 2015, almost everything replaced where needed. Sleeps up to 4 or more if using the wheelhouse. All floors are removable to view inside the hull. Hundreds of labour hours.  Antifouled every year and winterised. Polished when out of the water.

Old tanks removed and the fuel tank was replaced for lightweight 78L (ISO 7840/CE Marked). Water tank replaced large capacity 108L, new pipework. Calorifier for hot water from the engine,  all pipework replaced.

New hardwood wheelhouse and ply/fibreglass/aluminium bar roof, stainless plates/fixings- all removable if the need arises, providing excellent shade without getting hot like a soft top canopy. Outer wooden strakes replaced with rubber all around.

All wood replaced in the bilge and in the cabin, all floor panels replaced throughout. There is a gas compartment in the rear, a Spinflow oven/hob/grill, in excellent condition, 2 gas bottles included.

All cupboards/worktops replaced with hardwood Orocco, LED lighting throughout, conventional and mood lighting.  All windows removed, resealed and reinstalled with metric nuts/bolts- no rot again

All external LED lighting, nav lights and bright bow spotlights, easy to navigate at night

All shelving replaced and removable. Almost all cupboards have LED lighting inside. The whole boat has been designed to strip the interior easily for weight/access if needed.

The keel was replaced before the previous owner and is in good condition. Deck fittings removed and resealed. Stainless marine grade screws throughout and the interior.

NASA depth sounder with alarm. New steering wheel. New folding space-saving cabin door. Anti-slip easy clean wheelhouse flooring. Anchor and bow roller.

New interior foam and covers. New stainless surround and covers for cooker.

New toilet and woodwork inc Vinyl flooring, hand basin, hot and cold water, covered sink area in the front cabin.  12v fridge on wheels to move around with freezer compartment.

New style blade fuse boxes (indicator for blown fuses). New folding platforms for seats to ensure they can be placed out of the way and for access, high level for visibility over bow.

All-new soundproofing to the engine area. All new wood in bilge base for batteries, water, tanks (tanks inlined trays).

All new headlining insulation and clad with lightweight modern plastic cladding preventing any damp smells. Twin extractor fans. New Kenwood Radio and CD, speakers in cabin and wheelhouse.

Boat Safety Scheme Certificate valid until September 2023, Broads Toll paid for 2021/22.
