About this Boat

A well maintained 8 berth inland cruiser built by the respected Hampton Boats in 1990 combining spacious accommodation, economical cruising and a proven hull design.

Powered by a 50hp diesel Nanni engine ( approximately 10 years old) driving through a dependable shaft drive offering smooth and reliable cruising. The engine has been professionally serviced annually with its most recent service in August 2026.

Equipped with a bow thruster this Aquafibre 42 is very easy to maneuver.

One of this boat’s greatest advantages is its 8ft low air draft, allowing easy access beneath many of the Norfolk Broads’ bridges without sacrificing generous internal headroom. The sliding canopy provides the flexibility of enclosed comfort in poorer weather while opening the cockpit beautifully on sunny days.

The clever layout provides excellent privacy for extended cruising, making it equally suited for family holidays or sharing with friends, sleeping up to 8 people in 4 separate cabins, 3 double berths and 2 singles.

The fully equipped galley includes a fridge, cooker, sink with hot and cold water and excellent storage throughout.

A major advantage over many cruisers of this size is the inclusion of two separate toilet and shower compartments, both toilets connected to large holding tanks, providing convenience and practicality for larger crews

This Aquafibre 42 is well equipped for modern cruising, featuring shore power, 12V electrical system and 1,100 watt inverter.

The original gelcoat remains in excellent condition, reflecting careful ownership throughout its life. The hull is in great condition and, importantly, the boat has been lifted out of the water every winter (November through April) for the past 15 years, significantly reducing long-term wear and helping preserve the hull.
