About this Boat
We are delighted to be able to present our immaculately cared for and meticulously maintained Hardy 33 – Woods One. Built by Hardy Marine a well respected and highly decorated British marine manufacture in 1987. In 2018 she was acquired by the Chairman of Herbert Woods who has kindly put together a description of her in his ownership.
History owners remarks:
The Hardy 33 was designed by the world renowned yacht designer, Colin Mudie. His hull was used for a Fast Fisher, a Hardy 335 Sedan and a 335 Flybridge.
Our boat was built by Hardy Marine in Norfolk in 1987, to the specification of Bob Spalding Limited, build no. 921.
Bob was the World Champion Power Boat Driver in 1982 and his company, based in Levington Marina, sold used as well as new Hardy boats as an appointed Hardy Dealer.
He sold the boat to a client based in Guernsey, who enjoyed her for 18 years. In 2006 she was imported into the UK and VAT paid by the new owner. The boat was then sold in 2016 and kept on the River Dart. We bought the boat in 2018 and brought her to the Norfolk Broads.
In our ownership she has enjoyed a total refurbishment, at a significant cost. She is now the magnificent vessel you see today and cherished by me, John Butler, Chairman of Herbert Woods.
During September of 2026 Woods One has had an extensive maintenance and upgrade program undertaken by the skilled engineers of Herbert Woods, the items covered during this time are all listed in the key features section our this listing below.
Woods One is now available for viewings in our purpose built out of water boat show -esque set up in our wet shed.
