About this Boat
We are delighted to be able to present our Windboats, Wroxham – BROOKWIND. Built in 1935 she has been meticulously looked after by her current owners for the past 50 years! BROOKWIND has been moored in a private secure wet-shed for the majority of her life and has consistently undergone the required maintenance needed to preserve these wooden boats in the best of order. She has recently been out of the water for fresh planking, a new Antifoul and Hull inspections before being placed back into the water where a full engine service was conducted. This boat has also been fitted with a bank of brand new batteries linked to the domestics and engine respectively.
She has a full sliding roof allowing access under most Broads bridges and a very well positioned piloting position.
There is a fixed galley equipped with a gas oven, hob, grill and a galley sink with hot and cold running water.
She has permeant shower and toilet facilities on-board with her waste leading to a holding tank via a pump-out configuration.
Our Windboats, Wroxham – BROOKWIND holds current Broads 2025 River license and a Boat Safety Scheme Certificate running until 25/03/2027.
