Herbert Woods Boatyard is situated in the village of Potter Heigham one of the major boating areas on The Broads. Potter Heigham sits at the gateway to the Upper River Thurne and is famous for its medieval bridge (believed to date back to 1385) which leads to Hickling Broad and Horsey Mere.
Our helpful and friendly staff will make every effort to look after you and your boat. Our own moorings are the most convenient for service and support. We have over 100 exclusive private moorings some of which are on floating pontoons.
Herbert Woods is a popular private marina on the Norfolk Broads, we offer mooring berths in a well-maintained site, close to a range of local amenities. These well-kept moorings offer boat owners first class, secure facilities and a friendly service.
In addition we have water, pump-out and re-fueling services on site. Our marina has full boatyard facilities with craneage and all you would need to look after your boat in the right way. Our fully qualified on-site marine engineers are available to meet all your watercraft servicing and repair needs as well as full boat maintenance facilities to suit your requirements.
